Samsung’s next wave of foldables is getting closer, and this time the lineup could be more diverse than ever. A recent leak from within Samsung’s own app has effectively confirmed the names of the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, while also suggesting a new variant called the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE might be on its way. These devices are expected to be revealed at the company’s Galaxy Unpacked event, scheduled for July 4, 2025.

The leak was uncovered through a beta version of Samsung’s Internet Browser app, where model names like Fold7 and Flip7 were spotted. These internal test units are reportedly running Android 16 with the latest One UI 8. Although Samsung has not officially announced the lineup, the appearance of these names in company software strongly indicates that they are legitimate.

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to come with a slightly larger 6.5 inch outer display and an 8.2 inch main screen, both offering a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The phone might be thinner than previous versions and could feature the new Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, 12GB RAM, and storage options up to 1TB. Another major upgrade could be the camera system, with speculation pointing to a 200MP main sensor.

Meanwhile, Samsung appears to be planning a more affordable entry into the foldable space with the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. This Fan Edition model is rumored to offer core foldable features at a more accessible price point, with early reports hinting at a global cost around Rs 61,000. The Flip 7 FE might not launch immediately with the other devices but could be revealed in July and hit markets later in the year.

There is also growing curiosity around the possibility of an Ultra model in the Fold series. Samsung recently teased a new phase for its Ultra lineup through promotional material featuring what looks like a revamped foldable design. While there is no official confirmation yet, this could hint at the Galaxy Z Fold 7 Ultra being in development or ready for a limited showcase.

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 are likely to launch in India shortly after the global announcement. Pricing is expected to be premium, with the Fold 7 projected to be priced at Rs 1,64,999 and the Flip 7 around Rs 1,09,999. The Flip 7 FE, if released, would offer a more affordable alternative for users wanting to experience foldable technology without stretching their budget.

Samsung’s foldable journey continues to evolve, and this year’s offerings might not just refine the experience but also broaden its reach with new price points and design upgrades.
