The Pixel Buds 2a appear to be a refreshed version of the original A Series earbuds launched in 2021, retaining their budget friendly identity but adding more visual personality. These new colours are likely intended to match the aesthetics of the upcoming Pixel 10 smartphones, which are themselves rumoured to launch in a wide variety of colours and storage options.
On the premium side, the Pixel Buds Pro 2 are said to arrive in a new finish called Sterling, which is expected to be a sleek grey that complements the more sophisticated look of the Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL models. The Pro version is tipped to go even further with up to 1 TB of internal storage. Colour variants for the Pixel 10 Pro include Moonstone, Green, Jade, Porcelain, White, and Grey among others. The Pro XL and Fold variants will likely follow similar storage and colour patterns, bringing consistency across the lineup.
The leak also details two new charging products. One is referred to as the Google Pixel Charger, expected to arrive in a Rock Candy white finish. This charger may resemble Apple’s MagSafe accessory in terms of look and magnetic design. The other is a Google Pixel Wireless Charger, positioned as the next iteration of the Pixel Stand.
