Oppo has officially confirmed that the K13 Turbo series will launch in China on July 21. The announcement was made through a social media post on Weibo, accompanied by a short promotional video that offered a glimpse of the phones' design and core features. Among the standout highlights is the presence of a built in cooling fan with RGB lighting, positioned right beneath the rear camera module. This points to a clear focus on mobile gaming, suggesting that Oppo is targeting gamers with this upcoming series.
In the video, the phones are seen sporting RGB light accents along with what appears to be a vent system for thermal regulation. The presence of an active cooling solution is a rare move in the mid range segment, further underlining Oppo’s commitment to performance focused design. According to leaks and benchmark listings, the Oppo K13 Turbo series will consist of two models – the standard Oppo K13 Turbo and the K13 Turbo Pro. Both devices are expected to feature 6.8 inch LTPS displays with a 1.5K resolution.
The base variant of the K13 Turbo is likely to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset, while the more powerful Pro model could come with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor. These processors are among the most competitive options currently available in the mid to upper performance tiers and are well suited for high intensity gaming, multitasking, and extended usage without overheating.
A recent listing on Geekbench suggested that one of the phones, with model number PLE110, scored 2176 in single core and 6618 in multi core performance tests. The listing also showed the phone running on Android 15 and equipped with 16GB RAM. Both models in the K13 Turbo series are tipped to include a dual rear camera setup, featuring a 50 megapixel main sensor paired with a 2 megapixel secondary camera.
