Nothing is all set to unveil its most ambitious tech offerings yet on July 1 at a major launch event in London. The British startup is ready to introduce the Nothing Phone 3, its first true flagship smartphone, along with its first ever over ear audio device, the Nothing Headphone 1. With a focus on design, performance, and creativity, both devices are expected to take the company into a new league in the competitive tech space.
The Phone 3 has been confirmed to feature a 50 megapixel primary camera built for creators. This highlights the company’s increasing focus on empowering visual storytelling and high performance mobile photography. According to Nothing CEO Carl Pei, the Phone 3 is designed using premium materials and will be priced around 800 pounds, which converts to over ninety thousand rupees. This makes it nearly twice as expensive as its predecessor, the Phone 2, but also places it firmly within flagship territory.
Inside the Phone 3 is Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, ensuring top tier speed and efficiency. The phone is also expected to come with an AI button for quicker access to smart tools, though this feature has not yet been officially confirmed. The design leaks so far suggest that the device will retain Nothing’s signature translucent look, but with a reimagined triple camera layout that includes an asymmetrical placement. The updated Glyph matrix, located on the top right, further differentiates the new model visually and functionally.
The display and battery details are yet to be confirmed, but software longevity has already been addressed. The company has promised seven years of updates, including five years of full Android upgrades and two years of security support. With Android 16 already released, users can expect the Phone 3 to run on the latest software out of the box.
In India, the expected price range is between fifty and sixty thousand rupees, making it a high end offering aimed at users who seek both style and performance. The price point, combined with the latest chipset and extended update policy, puts it in direct competition with other premium Android phones in the market.
Alongside the flagship phone, Nothing is also entering the headphone market for the first time. The upcoming Nothing Headphone 1 is being pitched as a bold design first product. While the company has been tight lipped about the specifications, leaked images and teaser videos suggest that the headphone will feature a squircle shaped earcup with transparent elements and a design language that stands out from the usual options in the segment.
One of the design leads at Nothing mentioned that each button on the headphones would have its own distinctive style and feel, reinforcing the idea that the product is as much about expression as it is about sound quality. Rumored collaborations suggest that the headphones might feature audio tuning by KEF, a respected name in high end acoustics, although this too awaits confirmation during the launch.
Leaked photos show that the Headphone 1 may support a 3.5 mm audio jack, appealing to both audiophiles and users who prefer wired audio options. The look of the headphones has drawn comparisons to retro cassette tapes, with fun and nostalgic touches that may attract a new generation of design forward buyers.
With the launch just days away, anticipation is building around how Nothing will position itself in the broader tech market. From flagship phones to expressive audio gear, the company seems to be expanding its vision of technology that not only performs but also resonates on a personal and emotional level.
