Lava Agni 4 Launch Timeline

Lava is ready to expand its flagship Agni series with the upcoming Lava Agni 4 5G smartphone. While the company has not yet revealed an official launch date, leaks suggest the phone will make its debut in November 2025. The new model will take over from the Lava Agni 3, which arrived in October last year.

If reports hold true, the pricing of the Agni 4 will be around ₹25,000 in India. This would make it more expensive than its predecessor, the Agni 3, which started at ₹20,999. The price speculation is based on the upgraded chipset and design changes Lava is expected to introduce with this new flagship.

Expected Price and Variants

Industry sources indicate that the Agni 4 will arrive at a slightly higher price point compared to the Agni 3. While the previous model was offered with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, the new device is tipped to offer better configurations that align with its premium positioning.

Design and Display

The Lava Agni 4 is expected to come with a striking new design. Leaked renders show a horizontal camera module that looks similar to older LG smartphones, featuring two vertically aligned sensors with an LED flash in the center. The metal housing around the module adds a modern and premium touch to the overall design.

On the front, the Agni 4 may feature a large 6.7 inch FHD Plus AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Unlike the curved panel on the Agni 3, the Agni 4 is likely to sport a flat design, giving users a more practical and sturdy display experience.

Performance and Hardware

Under the hood, the smartphone is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, ensuring smooth performance for multitasking, gaming, and everyday use. For optics, the phone is tipped to feature a 50MP dual camera setup at the rear. While the number of lenses is fewer compared to some competitors, Lava seems to be focusing on performance and efficiency over extra sensors.

Perhaps the most exciting upgrade is in the battery department. The Lava Agni 4 could pack a huge 7,000mAh battery, a significant leap from the 5,000mAh capacity on the Agni 3. This could make it one of the most powerful smartphones in terms of battery life in its segment.

What to Expect

The Lava Agni 4 looks set to deliver a stronger design language, enhanced performance, and a massive battery that could make it stand out among mid-range smartphones. While official details are still awaited, the leaks already suggest Lava is aiming to strengthen its position in the Indian 5G smartphone market.
