Honor is officially set to bring the Honor X9c 5G to the Indian market on July 7, with availability beginning July 12 exclusively on Amazon. The smartphone, already introduced in select global markets, comes packed with standout features including a high resolution curved AMOLED display, a powerful Snapdragon processor, and a large capacity battery. This model is expected to succeed the Honor X9b and marks another significant step in the brand’s re entry into the Indian smartphone space.
The Honor X9c 5G will be launched in two colour options, Jade Cyan and Titanium Black, and will be available in a single 8GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration. In terms of design and build, the phone carries a sleek 7.98mm profile and weighs around 189 grams. It is built for durability with an IP65M rating that offers resistance to dust and water, along with an SGS certification for drop resistance.
One of the phone’s most talked about features is its 108 megapixel rear camera with an f/1.7 aperture. This camera also supports up to 3x lossless zoom and includes both optical and electronic image stabilisation, which is ideal for capturing stable shots and videos even in motion. On the front, users can expect a highly immersive 6.78 inch curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 1.5K and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. With a PWM dimming rate of 3840Hz and TÜV Rheinland certifications, the display promises eye comfort without compromising visual quality.
Powering the device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, paired with Android 15 based MagicOS 9.0. This latest software includes new features such as Magic Portal, which offers cross app functionality, and AI enhanced tools like AI Motion Sensing and AI Erase that add intelligence to daily use. These additions make the phone not just fast, but also smart in its usability.
Battery life is another major highlight. The Honor X9c 5G houses a 6600mAh silicon carbon battery that supports 66W wired fast charging. This ensures long lasting usage and quick recharge times, making it suitable for heavy users who rely on their phone throughout the day. With a design that balances performance and elegance, the X9c 5G is positioned as a competitive mid range contender for 2025.
This launch signals Honor’s aggressive approach in the Indian smartphone market, bringing flagship features to a wider audience at an accessible price point. The inclusion of high end camera capabilities, an AI driven user experience, and a vibrant curved display makes the Honor X9c 5G a well rounded device for both casual users and tech enthusiasts.
