Oppo is preparing to launch a new smartphone in its Reno lineup and this one seems to be a step up in both performance and design. The Oppo Reno 14FS 5G has not been officially announced, but multiple leaks have revealed almost everything about the phone. From chipset to camera and battery to AI tools, the new device appears to offer solid upgrades over its predecessor, the Reno 14F 5G.
According to fresh leaks, the Reno 14FS 5G will feature a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset and will launch in a single variant with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. It is expected to be priced at around EUR 450 which roughly converts to Rs 45700 in India. Leaked renders also show off the Luminous Green and Opal Blue color options, with the blue variant already circulating online. The design looks similar to the Reno 14F model but with a cleaner and slightly more refined finish.
The display is likely to be a 6.57-inch AMOLED screen with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and a centre punch-hole camera design housing a 32-megapixel front camera. On the back, Oppo is expected to offer a triple camera setup led by a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 sensor. This is accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 2-megapixel macro camera. Oppo is also reportedly adding support for AI-driven features like Google’s Circle to Search and Gemini assistant, along with AI-powered image editing capabilities.
Performance is not just about speed. The Reno 14FS 5G is said to come with a massive 6000mAh battery, promising long hours of usage on a single charge. It also supports 45W fast charging to top up quickly. Another standout feature is its IP69 rating for water and dust resistance, which puts it a notch above many midrange smartphones in durability.
In terms of software, the phone is expected to run on ColorOS 15.0.2 based on Android 15, ensuring access to the latest Android features out of the box. The device weighs around 181 grams and maintains a slim profile at just 7.7mm in thickness.
If all these leaks hold true, the Oppo Reno 14FS 5G could be one of the most well-rounded midrange phones of the season. With a premium design, powerful internals, and intelligent software, Oppo seems ready to take on competitors with a balanced and stylish offering.
