Oppo is preparing to raise the bar in the flagship smartphone market with the upcoming Find X9 Ultra. Expected to launch later this year, the device is said to succeed the Oppo Find X8 Ultra with significant upgrades in both performance and camera technology. According to new leaks, the Find X9 Ultra will feature a 6.8 inch LTPO OLED display with a crisp 2K resolution, offering users an immersive viewing experience with richer colors and fluid responsiveness.

The biggest highlight of the device is its rumored quad camera setup. The engineering prototype reportedly includes a massive 200 megapixel primary camera with a large 1/1.1 inch sensor, paired with another 200 megapixel periscope telephoto lens with a 1/1.3 inch sensor size. While details about the remaining two cameras are still under wraps, the setup is expected to include another periscope sensor and an ultra wide shooter, putting it on track to become one of the most advanced mobile camera systems in the market.

Under the hood, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra is tipped to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor, codenamed SM8850, which is expected to be officially announced at Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Summit in September. This next generation chipset should deliver blazing fast performance and power efficiency, making it ideal for gaming, multitasking, and AI powered applications.

Battery life also gets a major upgrade. The Find X9 Ultra could pack a massive 7000mAh battery, giving users extended usage without constantly needing to recharge. If Oppo continues its trend from previous models, we can also expect super fast wired and wireless charging support, though exact numbers have not yet been leaked.

The Oppo Find X9 Ultra is expected to launch alongside the Find X9, Find X9+, and Find X9 Pro models, offering customers a wide choice within the flagship range. For reference, the Find X8 Ultra launched in China earlier this year starting at CNY 6,499 (around Rs. 76,000) with a Hasselblad tuned five camera setup, 6100mAh battery, and Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. With the new Find X9 Ultra, Oppo seems determined to set new standards in display quality, photography, and battery endurance.

If these leaks prove true, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra could emerge as one of the most powerful smartphones of 2025, competing head to head with upcoming flagships from Samsung, Apple, and Xiaomi.
