OnePlus is reportedly gearing up to launch a new budget tablet in India called the OnePlus Pad Lite. The device is expected to follow in the footsteps of the OnePlus Pad Go, which made its debut in 2023. Leaked renders and specifications offer an early glimpse at what this affordable tablet might bring to the table, with a focus on lightweight design, large battery capacity, and a display suited for everyday use.
According to leaked images, the OnePlus Pad Lite closely resembles the Pad Go in terms of form. It features symmetrical bezels surrounding the screen and a single rear camera positioned on a circular module placed near the edge. The OnePlus logo is placed in the center of the back panel, maintaining a minimal yet familiar aesthetic. The leaked variant is shown in an Aero Blue color, and OnePlus is said to offer a matching folio case as well.
Internally, the tablet is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Helio G100 chipset. This octa core processor would be paired with at least 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage, suggesting it is geared toward casual use such as browsing, streaming, and light productivity. The tablet will reportedly run on Android 15 with the custom OxygenOS 15 interface layered on top.
The OnePlus Pad Lite may feature an 11 inch Full HD LCD screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz. Although the display and camera specifications appear modest with 5 megapixel sensors for both front and rear, the device seems to prioritize essential functionality over premium photography. Notably, its battery is tipped to be a 9,340mAh unit, which would be one of the largest in the segment, promising extended usage for users on the go.
The tablet is also expected to be available in both Wi Fi and cellular models. It could measure 254.9 by 166.5 by 7.4 millimeters and weigh around 539 grams, making it reasonably slim and portable for its screen size. This leak hints at OnePlus targeting students, light users, and budget conscious buyers with a well balanced feature set.
While an official launch date has not been confirmed, the growing volume of leaks and teasers suggest that the OnePlus Pad Lite could arrive in the Indian market very soon.
