Huawei has brought its latest wearable lineup to Indian consumers with the launch of the Watch Fit 4 and Watch Fit 4 Pro. These new smartwatches were first unveiled in select global markets earlier this year and are now available locally with all the advanced features intact. The standout features include a large 1.82 inch AMOLED screen, integrated GPS tracking, and long lasting battery performance, making them solid options in the mid range smartwatch segment.
The Watch Fit 4 is priced at Rs 12,999, while the Fit 4 Pro carries a price tag of Rs 20,999. Both models are available through Flipkart and other leading platforms. Interestingly, the Pro variant is currently listed as the regular model on Flipkart, although it retains the upgraded features and design elements of the global Fit 4 Pro. Users can choose from a variety of strap colors including Black, Grey, Purple, and White for the base model, and Blue, Green, or Black for the Pro version.
Design wise, both watches feature a rectangular AMOLED display with a resolution of 480 x 408 pixels. The base model supports up to 2,000 nits of brightness, while the Pro variant takes it further with up to 3,000 nits. This makes the display highly readable even in outdoor conditions. The watches include a rotating crown and a side button, giving users intuitive physical controls in addition to the touchscreen interface.
Durability is also a focus for the new Huawei wearables. Both versions of the Watch Fit 4 carry a 5ATM water resistance rating, which means they are suitable for swimming and water based activities. The Pro model offers added protection with an IP6X dust resistance certification, making it better equipped for rugged environments.
Fitness enthusiasts will appreciate the inclusion of comprehensive health tracking features such as continuous heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen saturation measurement, and sleep analysis. The Pro variant goes a step further by including an ECG sensor, bringing medical grade tracking closer to users' wrists. Huawei has also introduced its Sunflower Positioning System in these watches, which enhances GPS performance and enables tracking for water sports and complex routes.
Both watches support Bluetooth calling and allow for music playback and camera control directly from the wrist. Compatibility is offered with both iOS and Android devices, making them versatile companions regardless of the phone a user owns.
Battery performance has always been a highlight of Huawei’s wearable lineup, and the Watch Fit 4 series continues this tradition. According to the company, both models can deliver up to 10 days of usage on a single charge under light usage. With more typical use, battery life stands at around seven days, and when Always On Display mode is active, the watches are expected to last for about four days before needing a recharge.
With stylish design, practical health tools, and smart features, the Huawei Watch Fit 4 and Fit 4 Pro are positioned to compete strongly in the Indian smartwatch market. They combine daily usability with a strong focus on fitness and lifestyle, making them appealing for both casual users and serious health enthusiasts.
