IFA 2025 has turned into a showcase of futuristic home innovations, and Dreame Technology has taken the spotlight with its groundbreaking launch. The company introduced the Dreame Cyber X, a robot vacuum that can climb stairs, making it the first of its kind in the world. Alongside this, Dreame also revealed the Cyber 10 Ultra, a robot vacuum with a robotic arm that can clean hard to reach spaces and even pick up objects.
The Dreame Cyber X is built to eliminate one of the biggest inconveniences of traditional robot vacuums, the inability to move across different floors. It combines three main parts, the vacuum itself, a Bionic QuadTrack stair climbing system, and a base station. The QuadTrack system works like a mini elevator, docking the vacuum, lifting it, and placing it safely on the next floor so it can continue cleaning without human assistance.
This system can handle stairs up to 25 centimeters high at a speed of 0.2 meters per second, adapting to different step shapes and widths for safe movement. Both the vacuum and the QuadTrack system come with 6,400mAh batteries, powerful enough to clean up to five floors in one go. Stability is enhanced with triple braking protection and rubber treads, allowing the Cyber X to move smoothly across wood, tiles, and carpets. To navigate safely, it uses a Smart 3DAdapt Vision System with laser mapping and AI powered cameras that scan stairs in real time.
The Dreame Cyber 10 Ultra is no less ambitious. It is described as the world’s first robotic vacuum with a grabbing arm powered by the CyberDex Bionic Ecosystem. This flexible arm can extend up to 33 centimeters, move in multiple directions, and use different tools to clean areas traditional vacuums miss, such as under cabinets, between chair legs, or deep into corners. It can even lift objects weighing up to 500 grams, making it capable of tidying up while it cleans.
Its 360 degree TriSight Vision System combines RGB and infrared cameras with side laser sensors to create a detailed 3D map of the home, ensuring safe and accurate navigation. Dreame confirmed that the Cyber 10 Ultra will be available in select markets in early 2026, while global availability for the Cyber X has not yet been announced.
These innovations highlight Dreame’s vision of pushing the boundaries of what household robotics can achieve. By solving the challenges of stairs and unreachable spaces, the company is aiming to redefine how smart cleaning devices fit into modern homes.
