Mivi has introduced a new generation of smart audio devices in India with the launch of its AI Buds. These truly wireless earphones go beyond basic music playback by integrating a context aware voice based AI system that brings hands free intelligence directly into the ears of users. With 13mm drivers, quad microphones, spatial audio support, and an AI assistant loaded with unique avatars, the Mivi AI Buds aim to transform how users interact with everyday earphones.

The standout feature of these earphones is Mivi AI, a smart voice assistant embedded directly into the device. It can be activated by simply saying “Hi Mivi” and is designed to work without a screen, although it also supports text interaction through the Mivi companion app. This assistant is not just limited to performing standard commands. It includes five distinct avatars that specialize in different areas, turning the earbuds into a multi skill tool. These avatars include a Chef who can guide users through recipes, a Guru for simplifying complex topics, an Interviewer for mock interview practice, a News Reporter for customized headlines, and a Wellness Coach designed to offer empathetic conversations. These functions make the AI Buds useful beyond music and calls, adding real time utility across work, learning, and personal well being.

In terms of hardware, the Mivi AI Buds feature a 13mm driver housed in a metallic body with a sleek hourglass shaped stem and glossy finish. The design is lightweight and modern, weighing just 52 grams with the case. A quad microphone system ensures clear audio input, supporting both calls and AI commands. Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity and LDAC codec support deliver high fidelity wireless sound. The earphones also feature a 3D soundstage and spatial audio, enhancing the depth and realism of listening.

Battery life is another area where these earbuds stand out. The Mivi AI Buds offer up to 40 hours of playtime on a full charge, including the power from the case. The case charges in about one hour and supports dual device connectivity and gaming mode for low latency performance. While active noise cancellation is supported, specific technical details have not been disclosed. An IPX4 rating for water resistance adds a layer of durability, making the buds suitable for light workouts and daily use.

The Mivi AI Buds are available in Black, Bronze, Champagne, and Silver, with a price of Rs. 6,999. However, they are currently listed for Rs. 5,999 on the Mivi India website. They are also expected to be available on Flipkart, expanding their reach to a broader user base.

With AI powered features, a futuristic design, and audio technology tailored for everyday multitasking, Mivi AI Buds are not just another pair of TWS earphones. They are designed to be a personal assistant, content hub, and companion rolled into one smart audio device.
