Apple has officially introduced the new 14-inch MacBook Pro lineup in India powered by the next-generation M5 chipset. At the core of the new MacBook Pro is the M5 processor, which features 4 performance cores, 6 efficiency cores, and a 10-core GPU, along with a 16-core Neural Engine. Apple claims this new architecture delivers up to 3.5 times faster AI performance compared to the M4 chip, and up to six times faster than the M1.

The new Neural Accelerator built into each core allows users to run large language models and AI workloads directly on the device without relying on the cloud, making it ideal for developers, content creators, and professionals who work with advanced machine learning tools.

Display and Design

The 14.2-inch Liquid Retina XDR display remains one of the biggest highlights, offering a resolution of 3024×1964 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,600 nits of peak brightness. Apple has maintained the same design aesthetics with a robust aluminum body, available in Space Black and Silver finishes.

The keyboard comes with backlit keys and a larger Force Touch trackpad, ensuring a comfortable and responsive user experience.

The 14-inch MacBook Pro M5 is available in three configurations:

  • ₹1,89,900 for 16GB RAM with 1TB storage

  • ₹2,09,900 for 24GB RAM with 1TB storage

Pre-orders for the new MacBook Pro are live on Apple’s official website and at authorized Apple Stores across India. Deliveries will begin on October 22.
