The Idea Behind PicSee

Created by Billion Hearts Software Technologies, PicSee is described as the world’s first AI-enabled mutual photo-sharing app. The concept is simple yet powerful — your friends’ phones contain pictures of you that you probably never received, and PicSee’s AI makes it possible to get them automatically.

“Your friends’ phones are treasure chests full of photos of you that you’ve never received. PicSee gets them all back for you magically,” wrote Bidawatka in a LinkedIn post announcing the launch.

How the App Works

Once installed, PicSee scans photos using facial recognition technology to identify images that feature you. Users can invite friends who may have photos of them, approve each other’s requests, and allow the app to automatically exchange pictures within 24 hours.

The key idea is mutual exchange: you can only receive your pictures once you’ve shared theirs. This two-way consent model ensures privacy and balance. The AI handles everything behind the scenes, removing the awkward “send me my pics” texts and making the sharing process seamless.

Privacy and Security Features

One of the strongest aspects of PicSee is its focus on user privacy. All images exchanged through the app are encrypted, ensuring data safety. Users maintain full control over what gets shared every request requires approval, and sensitive or nude photos are automatically filtered and kept private.

Additionally, users can recall any image they’ve sent if they change their mind later, reinforcing PicSee’s commitment to responsible and user-friendly sharing.

A Fresh Take on AI in Social Media

While most social media platforms focus on broadcasting moments, PicSee focuses on returning memories to the people in them. Its AI-driven, consent-based exchange model could redefine how users share and recover photos in an age where privacy and automation often seem at odds.

With Bidawatka’s proven experience in building scalable Indian tech platforms like Koo, PicSee’s launch signals an innovative shift toward AI-assisted social tools that prioritize security and emotional value over virality.
