Pebble has launched the Halo smart ring in India, introducing a wearable that blends health tracking, gesture control, and a digital display into a sleek and compact form. Touted as the country’s first smart ring with an in built screen, it offers an alternative to traditional fitness bands with its minimal, modern design.

Pebble has taken a big step into the growing smart wearable segment with the official launch of its Halo smart ring in India. Designed to offer a powerful set of features within an ultra lightweight frame, the Halo ring is claimed to be India’s first smart ring equipped with an in built digital display. While smartwatches continue to dominate the fitness tech landscape, smart rings like the Halo are emerging as stylish, more discreet alternatives for users who want functionality without a screen strapped to their wrist.

The Pebble Halo smart ring is now available for pre orders through the brand’s official website at a discounted price of Rs. 3,999, with a maximum retail price of Rs. 7,999. It will be available for purchase via Flipkart starting July 4 at 12 PM. It comes in three premium finishes   black, gold, and silver   and is available in six sizes ranging from size 7 to size 12. These sizes translate to diameters starting from 53 millimeters up to 70 millimeters, ensuring a more personalized fit for a wide range of users.

What makes the Halo stand out is its in built digital display that provides at a glance information without needing to open an app. The ring is crafted with stainless steel and uses skin friendly materials, designed to withstand everyday usage while maintaining a sleek look. Although Pebble claims the ring is water and dust resistant, no specific IP certification has been mentioned.

From a functionality standpoint, the Pebble Halo is packed with health focused features. It can monitor heart rate, blood oxygen levels (SpO2), sleep quality, stress levels, and heart rate variability (HRV). It also counts steps and calories burned throughout the day, offering a comprehensive view of your daily activity. For those who prefer a hands free experience, the smart ring supports gesture controls. Users can scroll through videos, flip digital pages, control the camera shutter, and even manage music playback using simple hand gestures   all without picking up their smartphone.

Battery life is another area where the Halo aims to impress. On a full charge, the ring is said to last up to four days. It supports wireless charging and takes approximately 120 minutes to fully recharge. Connectivity is handled via Bluetooth 5.2, and the ring can be synced with both Android and iOS devices through the Pebble Halo app.

The wearable market is evolving fast, and products like the Halo smart ring are redefining how people engage with fitness and tech on the go. By offering robust features in an elegant ring design, Pebble is positioning itself as a brand to watch in this category. With a competitive price, good battery life, and unique gesture based interactions, the Halo is likely to attract a new segment of users looking for minimalist yet capable wearables.
